So, where do I start? 2021 has been an interesting year. I fell down the rabbit hole of DYI crafting. My writing suffered all year long where I couldn't seem to make myself get going on Winds of Change, which by the way probably won't be published until 2023.

My mother fell ill this year and I felt helpless once again. She lives in Wisconsin and I live here in Oklahoma. I am so thankful for my middle brother who did all the running around for her. She went from the hospital to a rehab nursing facility, then finally back home. I thank God every day that her health has been maintained and she fully recovered.

My youngest brother and his wife recently recovered from COVID. Praise the Lord that their symptoms were manageable at home and that their two sons didn't get it.
I finally figured out why my writing was suffering this year, and I won't go into it. But I will tell you that I was surprised by the reason. You never know what will tilt your world until it happens. I’ve been writing but slowly and hope to also improve in that area as well.

Since then I have started working on a book for a 21 multi-author series called The Reclusive Man. My book, Hannah's Discovery, is book 17 in the series and will come out on August 17, 2022. Click here for the series Amazon page to check out the books that are currently available. Then come join us for the Facebook Launch Party on December 17 and meet the first 6 authors of the series.

I also have scheduled a contemporary romance for Christmas 2022 in the Christmas at the Inn series, as well as contributions in the Hers To Redeem, Holiday Pet Sleuths, and the Here and Now series coming in 2023 and 2024, respective.

I have a private reader book club on Facebook where authors will share their new releases, sales, and excerpts. If you are interested, click here to join.

Remember the Angel Creek Christmas Brides series? Sadly, this series is coming to an end this year. There will be a high farewell party on Facebook starting December 27. As soon as I have a link, I'll share it so you can come and say goodbye to your favorite authors of the series.

Starting December 24 my book, Victoria, will be on sale for 99 cents through the end of the year! This week meet the Angel Creek Christmas brides at that special price of 99 cents the week of the farewell party. The Angel Creek Christmas Brides series Facebook page is here.

I won’t keep you any longer. Have a great Monday and until we meet again stay safe, have fun, and find your next book boyfriend.

Hugs,

Maxine
